AVG 8 Anti-Virus Schedule
4 Answers
Could anyone please tell me how I can change the current settings to-
1) Scanning from daily to weekly.
2) The time of the daily updates.
If you could give any instructions as if you were advising a very young child I would really appreciate it!

type in AVG and select AVG User Interface,
select "Computer Scanner" from the left hand side,
then "Add scan schedule" and adapt settings to desired time and date, unchecking boxes for irrelevant days.
You can't seem to be able to delete the original scan schedule as it's a failsafe I suppose, but once you add a new schedule it seems like you can then edit the first and default one, where the "edit" button was greyed out and not available to click before.
Have I made any sense at all?!
Please don't hesitate to ask more questions if I've overlooked anything. Hope it helps tho.
