Mail Merge

Thanks for you help last time VHG.. The envelopes were successful! Now though I need to print some address labels - The problem starts at 'Arrange your labels' I click on 'Address block' then 'Match fields' and fill in the required information.. but I am unable to get the right address format - the template is American. So it ends up with the town, county and postcode all on the bottom line - even though I've selected different lines for the address in 'Match fields' I think I need to change the template to UK... how do I do this please? Anybody? Thank you very much in advance!

I've done it!!! Didn't use the template, entered my fields one by one. Really happy!!!! Hope this helps somebody else who's having trouble with mail merge ... it's all about perseverance!!

it would be a lot more helpful if you gave a description of how you did it

I'm sure that everyone is pleased to know you did it .... but I doubt that knowledge alone will help any of the people wanting to do it.

Like I said in my initial post - Click 'Arrange your labels', then instead of using the template in 'Address block', click 'More Items' to enter your fields one by one. I do still think it's practice and perseverance with Mail Merge - as I have been previously advised here on AB.

Sorry TROLL that I missed a step out of my method and therefore, you feel that this post would not help others.
I joined AB 02 November 2005 and feel that I have shared my knowledge nicely over the years - and am grateful to other AB members (especially VHG) for sharing their knowledge in return.
