Printing image to big

i had a jpeg image on my desktop which i right clicked to print - trouble is it gave me a full A4 print - i only wanted half the page used - but there was no print preview option as windows xp own print window bullied its way thru
so how do i get the jpeg to use only half the page-do i move it elsewhere or how do i make it smaller?

Don't really understand your problem.
Right-clicking and choosing Print should bring up the Photo Printing Wizard.
On page 1 check that the correct picture is ticked and click Next
On page 2 select your printer and click Next
On page 3, scroll down to layout you want (13 x 8 cutout prints) and click it to select
Click Next
