I would insert a new column next to the one you want to add the �500 to and then in the top cell next to the first figure enter the formula =a1+500 (change cell number to suit) then copy that formula and paste it into the entire column, then copy the contents (not the formula) of the new column and paste it into the original column. You can now delete the new column you created

Oh and just realised you said row.... it would work for rows too, just insert a new row instead obviously.
