Problem in Excel

Can anyone tell me how I can add �500 to a row of figures in Excel say B16 to N16, I think it is something to do wuth Paste Special. All help greatly appreciated.

There is no formula in the cell at present. I would really appreciate help on this please.
Probably several ways to do it.... I would insert a new column next to the one you want to add the �500 to and then in the top cell next to the first figure enter the formula =a1+500 (change cell number to suit) then copy that formula and paste it into the entire column, then copy the contents (not the formula) of the new column and paste it into the original column. You can now delete the new column you created

Does that make sense??

Oh and just realised you said row.... it would work for rows too, just insert a new row instead obviously.
