EXCEL PROBLEM

I posted a problem I had a problem opening my Excel files and finally today, I was able to repair the problem. All it was a simple 'uncheck' in the Excel Tools/General window. The reason I'm posting this, is that I found the answer via a web site COMPUTER HOPE(www.computerhope) which is US based and free and I found the answer just by putting in Excel and scrolling down the Q/A so thought some of you may find this site useful. Hope so.

thanks for the tip BJS, it can be a nightmare trying to filter through sites :)
