Norton Utilities on Windows 7
Anyone know how good Norton Utilities maintains Windows 7?
The pro's and con's I have heard are pretty much 50/50. I used to be a real believer in Norton products until they began to slow down my PC.
Currently I am using several different free versions of maintenance software. They are okay, but take up a lot of time organising and running.
I use BT Yahoo! internet security, but, am debating on going back to Norton for maintenance and security.
Would welcome any suggestions

I've been using CCleaner and a Registry Cleaner, they seem to be okay.
However, I have been wondering about something to fix or at least identify corrupted programs which sometimes cause my pc to hangup. For what it was worth, Norton Utilities used to tell me what was broke, but it couldn't fix (but sometimes I did have my doubts)
Or am I just wasting my time searching for the 'Holy Grail', like in the early days of automatic test equipment?
