I've used avast! with hardly any problems for the past 2 -3 years. Is avg better?

they are both excellent freebies
I've used avast for about the same time as you .no probs, so i would stick with it

I used to use AVG free on my 4 PCs but got a few problems with it (lack of updates, messages in foreign languages etc).

I have gradualy moved to Avast free on each PC and not regretted it.

Stick with Avast.

both the anti virus software's are good .so you can use any one which you want.

you are using the avast so you may keep on it .

As far as free software AVG is good. But if you have a paid version of Avast!, then you should be with it. Free AVG do not have Firewall protection.
