Windows Defender stopped working

everytime i turn on my laptop i get a message popping up saying my Wndow defender have stopped working:

this is the exact message:
application failed to initialise: 0x800106ba. A problem caused this program's service to stop. To start the service, resart your computer or search Help and support for how to start a service manually.

i restart the laptop still no joy. and when i try to start it up manually it comes up with the same message. Any one have any ideas??

Try to register these dll files:

regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
regsvr32 wucltui.dll
regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 wups.dll
regsvr32 wuweb.dll
regsvr32 atl.dll
regsvr32 mssip32.dll

To register them:
> Open the Run
> Now paste one dll file and press enter.
> Repeat process for all files.

remove the pc defender from the add and remove programs .
restart the computer

again download the pc defender and installed.

start the services from the service in programs and set as automatic.

it will not show any error message.
