Lost my e-mail contacts

Hi, I have used Windows Live Mail for some time now but after doing a recent Microsoft Update which included Windows Live essentials the Live Mail changed slightly and more importantly I have now lost all my contacts.
Does anyone know how or if I can get my contact list back again?

I've not got Windows Live Mail but I suspect that, like Outlook and Outlook Express, your Contacts list can be found again by going to the 'View' menu.

In Outlook Express, the route is View > Layout > (Place a tick next to 'Contacts') > Apply > OK

I suspect that you'll be able to find something similar with Windows Live Mail

Thanks Buenchico for your answer. I followed your suggestion View>Layout but unfortunately there isn't an option to tick "Contacts" in Windows Live Mail.
