Snipping tool

On the above Vista prog is there any way of smoothing out the "rough " edges of a photo after snipping? Thanks
ps I've asked this question before with no reply I'm just hoping that i'll get lucky this time!!

I think you probably got no answer because ther isn't one

pictures are all made of little blocks
so you can't actually draw a straight diagonal line.

anti aliasing blurs the edges to disguise the jaggies ...but when you snip an irregular shape ... it's a clean cut and the jaggies are clear

This has been my moan about the XP v Vista argument in the photo editing department.In MS picture it you could smooth the edges to quite a fine degree.Thanks for your answer.
ps as you may gather I'm stuck with Vista!!
