Having just done a 100% scan of my PC I have no viruses etc, etc, but I have 2 warnings mentioned and 2 files which cannot be scanned in the report. What do I do next please? TIA.

What you do next is tell us what the warning say, and the two files are.
lol

huh?
The techies need to know the exact wording of thew warnings and which two files couldn't be scanned.
They are being rather obnoxious about it though! lol
yes I agree - roj is being totally unreasonable and obnoxious ...

Why on earth would he want to know any detail?
all error messages are the same aren't they?

I`ve looked at the report of the scan but the report doesn`t mention which.....just 2 warnings, and 2 files couldn`t be scanned. So if nobody can give me a answer, Pffffftt. thanks anyway. Topic closed.
AC....sometimes your superior attitude is very irritating. Not everyone is computer savvy, they do not need to be talked down to by those who have more knowledge.
daffy
you are the one who made the "obnoxious" remark - now I'd say that was definitely more than a little bit insulting - (I just thought Roj's reply was funny - then again I'm not that touchy) ...

were you trying to escalate the situation (troll style?) - because the net result of you chipping in was that carlton didn't get an answer (result?)

perhaps if you understood the basics of asking a question you wouldn't consider a simple request for more ... or any specific information unreasonable.

how would you have answered given the available information?
If the PC is coming up with a warning, we neec to know what the warning is, otherwise how can we help?
I use Avira and after the Scan has finished you can access the Avira Scan File which tells you which Files were unable to be opened for Scanning. I have 5 Files which cannot be accessed and if my memory is correct from my last Scan, they were HKEY Files.
So you didn't notice the 'lol' after the 'obnoxious' bit then AC?
only means you were laughing when you said it
lol
I was laughing actually AC.
I do understand your frustration when people don't post the necessary info for a solution,I just think maybe you need to be a little more patient sometimes :) As I said before not everyone is computer savvy (or even has common sense) but there is still no need to talk down to them.
