P.C. running slow

p.c.running very slow, anybody know how to speed things up, ran a virus scan and p.c.cleaner, showed no problems

It could be that your computer is infected with malware. I know you did a scan, but you didn't say what anti-virus program you have. For example Norton, AVG, Avast and many other anti-virus programs can't detect spyware or other malicious programs, especially adware. You have to scan your PC with Spyware Doctor from http://www.2-spyware.com/review-spyware-doctor .html or MalwareBytes anti-malware.
You can scan with both programs to ensure that your PC is not infected.

Then you can use CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com
Also open Task Manager and check all running processes. If one or more processes use many RAM it could be your problem.

If it is that bad I would recommend backing up all of your files and doing a fresh install of Windows. Then, as a priority, ensure that you install a complete AV/Anti-malware suite at the very start.

Have you tried defragmenting the hard drive? A fragmented hard drive would affect the speed of your computer.
