Doesn't do it. I get message saying "refer to support centre" whoever and whatever that is.
Try this

Click your start button / Run / type in the following line:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Press OK and restart your computer.

Thanks Lil. I think I've already tried that one. Anyway I've done it again.........see how it goes.

Bu66er it's just come back again.
Why are you that bothered about removing it?

Just stop it loading at windows start up.
Does Rev Uninstaller with the advanced option do any better?
Question Author
Thanks Chuck. How do I do that?
Click start > run and type in msconfig and hit enter

now click on the startup tab, have a look down the list and remove the tick from beside msn messenger and click OK, next time you restart your computer MSN won't be loaded.

p.s. next time you restart the will get an info box telling you the startup has changed, put a tick in the box at the bottom and click OK to clear it.

P.P.S. there are probably a few other things that you can remove from startup the same way which would speed your computer up overall. Make a list of the things in the startup and ask on here if you want to do this and somebody will tell you if they are needed or useless junk.
Try this - click computer - c drive - programme files - look for msn in the list - right click and delete.
Do you use Outlook Express? If so, you can't delete it.
no don't delete programs! uninstall programs only trish,

anotherview you can uninstall msn messenger if you have outlook express it is windows messenger that you can not uninstall but you can stop it from coming up the same way as was explained by chuck just look for windows messenger click on it and disable it
