Is it possible to connect a computer to a TV so that, if so desired, you could watch say I-Player on the bigger screen. If this is possible, what computer outlet do you use and what TV input skt. Thanks for any help in advance

What do you have available on your computer and TV in the way of video outputs and inputs?
If you have a Wii and a wireless router you can watch BBC Iplayer on the Wii.
Yes! My laptop screen broke some time ago and i run a VGA lead from the LCD Tv to my machine and it works fine.
If you have an old CRT TV im not sure if this way is possible but if you have a Plasma or LCD just make sure you have a VGA connection then go anf buy the correct length lead !

I have a HD Ready Pansonic LCD TV and a Packard Bell computer with USB. Being a wrinklie as I have said in previous questions, modern technology is quite daunting for me.
