Unless the techies have changed things again, Mr P, after you type the URL - ie the http and so on bit - you also have to click on the 'Enter' key to make the link 'live'.

Also, if you just click on the address bar at the top of the screen - when you are already on the page you want to link to - it turns blue. Click the 'c' key to copy it and then put your cursor into your answer at the appropriate point and click the 'v' key to paste it in.

(I'm such a computer-illiterate generally, I do hope I've said that all correctly!)

I knew it! You have to click control and the 'c' key and control and the 'v' key, not just the letter-keys alone! Good grief!!

The way i usually do it is to open a second internet explorer from your desktop go to the website you want then right click it select copy then go back to the other internet explorer window right click in the space where your answer goes and select paste then press enter.
