Re Microsoft Home & Office

I have to install MS Office either 2007 or 2010 onto my computer for some work I have to do - I've been using the 60 day trial up till now so need to upgrade - can I just get a product key for it, as I imagine the software is already loaded onto my computer? (unfortunately I have to use MS, otherwise I would go fro Open Office etc.) Thanks for any help.
