hi to all who have taken time to read my question and tried to help me to deggers316 l tried to get cc cleaner , well first time l got on it l ended up with reg genie who told me it would cost me money, when l tried again and got cc cleaner again once they had done their stuff they wanted me to pay for further stuff, l think l am getting there but when l switch on l am getting a box on the botton right telling me that some things have been blocked now l dont know what this all means, l do think things are better its much quicker getting on pages instead of waiting minutes it is taking seconds l think l'd better leave things for a while unless you think l should do anything else l thank you for your help. though l would like it sort out the blocked bits .

Stick with one cleaner if you must. Uninstall old/unwanted stuff.
Get Malwarebytes, switch OFF system restore and do a full scan.
Let it clean out what it finds.

Many programs rely on scaremongery/psychological issues to get you to pay money out. You do not have to.

PS.
After a full MWB scan .. turn system restore back on again.

I don't know wat you installed but what you were looking for was CCleaner, not CC Cleaner. CCleaner is free and remains so. It is a great little tool but not an antivirus prog.
