Must all computer files be opened identically . . .
. . . or can the odd one be opened displaying their contents differently; ie the majority of files when opened displaying their files as icons in alphabetical order while others displaying their contents in a list? I'm using XP by the way.

What I was after was a method where I could open different files displaying their contents diffferently, not the same as the rest, as it is now.
