Can anyone tell me why I can't get BBC IPlayer. it comes up but I can only get sound only, no pic. just a series of coloured lines.
With my old ISP it was fine but now with SKY no luck.

Thankyou - Jem

Can you download them ok?

Our bandwidth isn't good enough to watch them on the internet so we have to download them all.
The issue may well be that you have an improper codec being used.
You can download a multi-purpose codec (FFDShow) which will decode a variety if internet formats perfectly .. including DVD, XVid, and some Real and Quicktime formats.
Very small .. and is not a program .. just the 'spanners' to make formats display. Try it first before anything else. It can stay on your system for use playing formats that Windows would otherwise not display.

There is a x64 bit version there if required (Check your pc to see if x64 bit operating system) Install it and reboot .. try again and come back!

Problem Solved - - -

Did quite a bit of fiddling but got there in the end.

A boquet to you all. & Thanks again. -- Jem
But ..
What did you actually do?
Reboot ... or add software or FFDShow?

AB, I looked at all aspects of it and realised I'd been a silly cow for putting up with it so long and decided to phone Tech people at Sky to give em a tongue lashing.
They were v/appologetic & said they'd try to rectify the matter.
I fiddled soo much Rome could have burnt down.
They sorted it, I don't think I had anything to do with it in the end. - Dunno, perhaps 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other, - Dunno.
