Security message
I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..
"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party".
(There's the option to cancel or continue)
Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Anyway, nice to see them. We had a sort of plum crumble for dessert, to try to use up our vast plum harvest, and they brought us jars of plum mousse, for the same reason, as they only live a block away and our neighbourhood is Plum City at the moment.
Good morning....nothing good about the weather, it's piddling down and a real feel of 6C!! I'm sure in the past it's been milder than this at xmas. After a chilly start yesterday was lovely, I spent most of it outside.
I decided to have a break, I got thoroughly peed orf of being ejected by this site by whatever issues were going on...and comments such as change your browser or 'it isn't only us' aren't helpful. I haven't had any problems on any other websites. Hey ho. Quite refreshing actually, there's only so much eye rolling a biddy can do without being in danger of staying that way. :)
Hope you and yours are all ok.

should anyone want to change a browser... just install a new one

Then click on the icon for it instead of whatever icon you click on now to get onto the internet. You can have as many browsers as you want, and you can open more than one at a time if you want. Sometimes one of them does better than another for a particular website, I have no idea why.

thanks woofy and jno...I'll consult my technowiz for his opinion if he's not too busy stewing plums for jam and moondust, they've inherited a mini orchard with the new house. Hope I'm not speaking too soon but I always associate plum season with wasps but I haven't seen many at all this year....unlike vine weevils, I've been drowning those in the house all week. I repotted all my indoor plants and ditched the old woody ones yesterday.
Thanks for that Jno but I leave anything like that to my technical dept :)
I use Firefox and it zooms along ok .
My brothers plum tree was a disaster this year ,in fact he's thinking about having it removed as he thinks it's got a disease of some sort .The fruit is all manky but last year there was loads of fruit and I was inundated with plums. .

Gosh it's gloomy and cold .I've had eggs and bacon with a buttered doorstep. Put a load of books into my library wishlist to read on my tablet but I have a real book to read that eventually came through from my reserves ,the last book in the Cousins War series so may sit and have a read or I can continue sewing up this damn cardigan ....decisions ,decisions.
Hello all. Glad you are here Robi. I love plums, so if any of you are making plum jam then save some for me and please leave the stones in, I love them!
We had a lot of those food weevils in the dry goods and raisins, so lots got thrown out, and we are almost moth free now. The walls are studded with dead moths!
My internet is fine I'm on some sort of Firefox, and just do not understand the browser thing about having 2 or more on the go. This laptop has to go back to Sony under the 2 yr agreement as they tidy them all up and get them whizzing on again before the guarantee runs out.
Hija seems to be fine.
I am totally boired with having "him indoors" so made him clear the air con machines out and get the weeds off the roof, when I asked for some holes to be drilled he rebelled! He also refused to get me the sewing machine that I want from Lidl's, says I do not use them enough, but I would if I was sure it would work, and my old Jones and Brother just isn't reliable anymore. I cast him disgusted and disappointed looks, but nothing works! He is cooking dinner tonight!
