I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Mr N's offering was strange but tasty; sort of a curry in the middle of a pot of rice; Not runny but moist, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but there again I have been starving hungry since last night for no particular reason.

It's lovely having nowhere to go (OK I'll be moaning soon about not going out) but with the nights drawing in and a faint evero slight evening chill in the air, am loving it.
I've just been reading about the flooding in Norwich in August 1912, shaney - seven inches of rain in a day, 52 bridges destroyed and the city cut off; and much of East Angular stayed under water all summer as the ground was so saturated.
Yes we get a lot of flooding .I can't remember back as far as 1912 but 1953 was pretty scary .I was only a young nipper but my brother and my Dad rowed in a boat over to Cobholm Island to rescue his fiancee ( my now sis in law) and her family from the bedroom of their house as the water was up to the ceilings downstairs .It's all below sea level over there but it was pretty bad over here too.

Good morning am waiting at dentists for xray (terrified)
terrified of X-rays? Oh dear, you can run but you can't hide.
Morning all
Another dreary day at the office. Cold and cloudy out there but I was up bright and early to go to the bakers and have just had an egg and bacon bap .
That was interesting Jno .Must have been a really enormous vat .They are large though I suppose .I was amazed at how large when I went round the old Youngs Brewery at Wandsworth some years ago.Massive great things .
Hope you're all ok today .
Ooh good luck at the dentist Neti .
yesterday's Morse rerun had a person drowned in a mash Tun.
RIP Alvin Stardust' only 72.
I have a cyst at the top of a tooth which has been causing my runny eye and nostril. Waiting for an estimate!!

Morning all, dullish but mild.

Snap neti, and good luck, despite ailments, gripes and aches and pains...Oh what a trooper... I cobbled myself together and went to the dentist for a check up. All fine, just a bit of a clean . Came out all pleased with myself and standing outside the vets was a neighbour I've known for years with his old dog on it's last journey. How sad, poor man (he has another dog)....there's always someone having a crippier day.

My mum went through the terrible floods in Nottingham in 1947. Bro was only 4 and apparently he thought it was a great adventure, living upstairs and watching boats go by and bringing supplies.
I remember floods when I was about 9 in Suffolk area, remember being on a train and looking at fields and fields of water.
My teeth also need a clean but my cyst is chronic, just hope it's not too expensive and it cures it all. I'm hoping for something in the 200€ area but will be more like 400 in which case I'll pull thr tooth. She wants to take out the nerve, clear the cyst, remove the plaque (sarria) and send me on my merry way, but we'll see.
Neti, pulling the tooth may not fix it. I had an infection in the sinus above the tooth which, i think is similar. The infection survived the tooth removal, an implant, the implant removal and infection treatment and a second implant and preventive antibiotic treatment.
Oh blimey woofy, what do you suggest? how did you get rid of it, am on anti-bis again at the moment.

I have a confession, I have bought a pair of leopardskin leggings/jeggings, sis bought some (ok she's a lot slimmer) but they are sort of fluffy inside, and will look ok with my new tan slouch boots and a baggy jumper (or I hope it will) if not, I'll wear them round the house!
Am enjooyin scott and Bailey at the moment, but there are some funny faces being pulled!!
Haha Shaney just found this German word, backpfeifengesicht, meaning a face badly in need of a punch! I love it!

Ooh, sounds nasty neti...the cyst, not the leggings ...hehe.

I tried to rise above my dislike of Surranne Jones and watched an entire episode of Scott & Bailey to see what I might be missing....Oh dear, sorry, but I think the acting is abysmal. I'd rather have Cagney & Lacey, lol...and, as if by magic, it's back on in the afternoons. :)
That all sounds nasty for you Neti .I hope they can sort it out for you pdq .
Wear your new leggings when you go to get it done then when you wriggle about in the chair everything will be covered :)
Yes, the Germans have some very descriptive words and phrases. My MiL had some lovely turns of phrase.
It brightened up here for about ten minutes ,otherwise it's been most dreary.
I've not been impressed with this series of Scott & Bailey .Janet gets on my nerves .When she interviews people I wish she wouldn't do so in that monotone droning voice .
I didn't mean to scare you, just that you need to listen to the dentists advice. You kight be better keeping the tooth if you can, part of the problem with mine was that I had lost the one behind it and it made the bone density reducing worse.
