I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Oh yes woofy, we are both extremely happy with the sisters gift (if there should be an apostrophe, I'm sorry). He actually phoned them up separately today to thank them as he should indeed.
Hi all. Called in to say goodnight a bit late. I've been really busy again today. Will really pleased when my bedroom is decorated. By Wednesday all being well. Mowed my grass as well and there was no sweeping up as the wind just blew it away.
Watching Silent Witness on Drama. Don't know how old it is but I'm quite enjoying it.
I'm pleased your OH is getting better. Hope things keep improving.
I'm a great fish eater. For lunches I often have sardines or mackerel on toast. Other fish I have as main meals.
That's all for now. Goodnight, sleep tight.
We have chilled most of the day and I have pottered. A good night tonight and we'll be back to normal. Oight oight all.
I haven't done much either .It's been lovely here weatherwise and I perched on the tete for a while in the sun .Cobbled some dinner together and watched a DVD,Thelma and Louise ,I always well up when they drive over the edge , then Downton .You have to laugh at Maggie ..."Some man has opened a nudist colony at Wickford in Essex.” ... Isn't it terribly damp?
Night all.

darn, I meant to sleep longer than this. Oh well.

Morning all...Chillier day, it was very gusty buffety here yesterday too. I tried to do a bit of pottering because it was so mild but it was a bit too irritating and I ended up with a mild dizzy headache. So much for fresh air being good for you. Tomorrow's forecast is 'Terribly damp'....
lol shaney, I loved Downton...and the reply, "I doubt they were aiming it at you."
How many pieces did that jigsaw have? It must have been an image of Dr Who's tardis if they intended to fit all those into the tiny frame of edge bits they'd already done.

lol jno, know the feeling. I would have liked to sleep longer than 6.30am but next door's little darlin' decided it was time to get up and start banging cupboard doors. I need to tell her she's a tad previous, there are 9 more years before she hits teenage. (It was Tarquin's favourite stress release :))
tried to get more sleep but was interrupted by the door bell going - about eight times in a row, for heaven's sake, once will do. Not for me either, it was for the new guy upstairs, who is apparently Paulo. If I see him I will point out that he is 23A, not 23, so can he give the right address to deliverypersons in future.

We used to live at 36a, above an off licence. They sometimes had our mail, unfortunately we didn't get theirs.

It's been raining so I had to stop what I was doing...ok, it was clearing cupboards, indoors... but any excuse.
Hello all
It was nice but now it's clouding up ,very windy .I think Gonzalo is on his way ,that'll be cheerful.I should have gone out earlier just to let the natives know I'm still alive but need time for face straightening, tablet taking etc. But KBO I must as I need to buy birthday cards and things which Mr S can't shop for.
Hope you're all ok .
I didn't want to get up early either but the dogs had other opinions. I have been doing heavy lifting in the garden, putting the last four of my wooden boxes into position and the earth to fill them. I have got one of these

I dithered for ages but its brilliant, makes stuff much easier.
goodness, I don't think we could pull that, not since we ate the team of oxen. We have a couple of these

not so big but they move easily, like a wheelie bag for flying
I've got one of those too. I keep all my tools in it.
Hi all, been out, came back, painted kitchen window frame, tried to put blind up again, disaster, will have to tell MrN, lengthened one of the green settee throws on new sweing machine,so now won't slip , changed covets covers, washed one and now the other, cleaned house all through, made Shep's pie, and fell asleep having a cuppa. Gosh I am tired today
I had a little nap but was woken up by the phone. It's a good thing I'm not on Twitter, people would probably tweet in the middle of the night just so they could wake me up.

' Gosh I am tired today'....It's hardly surprising neti. Slow down, you'll be whizzing up a tornado.
I've been tidying and moving anything that's likely to be transported to Norfolk if and when Gonzalo arrives. I'm not looking forward to that.
I love the snazzy carts, all I've got is a rusty, squeaky old sack trolley.
oh yes, we're expecting "a little rain and wind" in the morning. That sounds frightful. I hope I won't find whitecaps on my G&T.
Ah relief, clean and in my bed, dinner served and plates washed up and put away, have told Mr N about the blind, and the clothesline pulley I want put up and the neon light which has 100's of tiny flies stuck to it in the kitchen, I daren't clean it until it is disconnected, that is his work for manaña, but I don't think he heard me!!
Still jolly warm here!
Out with friends again tomorrow evening.
Evening each. Love the gardening trollies. All my small gardening tools are in a bucket and the spades and long things are propped up against the shed wall. It's an integral shed to the house and very big warm and dry! I have my mower and everything in it. Even all Steady' possessions from his youth are stored in boxes at the back. I showed them to him once and he said "thanks mum". That was that - didn't bother to say he would take them home.
I've been to Leicester today and didn't get home til 5. There were 5 of us meeting up with our cousin who lives in Market Harborough. I had a lovely Chilli C.C. For lunch followed by a latte with a Baily's. Think I'll go and get another before UC comes on. Have a good night all. I'm looking forward to my Decorator coming tomorrow.
See ya laters gaters!
Its getting chilly here, i am wearing a sweatshirt, cosy trousers and socks but think I might need to put the heating on.
Jude, I don't know if I mentioned it but we used to have a full-size "statue" of jno jnr on the patio - he'd done a plaster cast of his body for A level art, then left it with us. We tried to move it recently and the ankles cracked, so we rang up to see if he wanted to collect it and he just said "Throw it away". We broke it up with great difficulty (it had steel rods through it) and put it into several rubbish bins. We'd had it there for about 15 years, for what turned out to be no reason.

So you could always ask Steady if he actually wants all his memorabilia, he might not.
