Anyone else put this version on their Computer ?? Any comments ?
This was downloaded automatically yesterday as part of the daily Updates.
The quick Scan is now called 'Threat Scan', which took 11 min 21 sec on my PC.
There is an option to Upgrade to the Professional Paid version, but I will stick to the Free one whilst this option remains.

Downloaded the Professional one by mistake a few weeks ago, as it had Trial version of Free one incorporated.
Have Un-installed that one now....
that is what i had i thought i had pressed the wrong button when the trial ended i had to clear that version reloaded the free version but it is the same style box giving me the option to buy

it is now a lot quicker to scan my whole computer

Hi redman.......Thanks for having drawn my attention to the Up-Date which I did Not automatically receive for Malwarebytes; but have now installed in my desktop.

You are wise to stick with the Free version as I am doing. Paid for versions are not necessary for Homocompos [ I think that might be the word for folk who use computers from home to achieve personal pleasure !!! :-) ]

The 'Threat Scan' does seem to be a lot quicker than what was a 'Quick Scan'. I would say about a third faster.

Perhaps other ABers will be interested to know that I downloaded and ran the Free up-dated programme from.:-

Cheers....Hans.
i have a very good friend in IT Redman. gave me cc cleaner pro too and accepts updates, as does malwarebytes which updated to the new version earlier, wouldnt be without them both
Thanks Redman, you also alerted me to the new version.

I simply updated the the old one this morning when I last scanned. No indication of a new one. Re-scanning now running a lot faster.
@berniecuddles...... I am wondering if you do indeed have a good IT friend, by the very fact that Microsoft does Not approve the use of Registry Cleaners which can destroy a Windows Operating System.

It is a useful addition as I run a Scan once or twice a week.
MSE Protects my PC, and Malwarebytes is used as back-up
