I have BT Infinity but its been down since Sunday afternoon. I have reset my Router lots of times and it always comes up again, with a steady blue light.

Before I start the long, involved process of contacting BT in India, is there anything else I can do ?

I am using my little Notebook, on a dongle at present, and its not a very fast connection !

Well, lets hope this is the case with me as well ! How did you get your free three months....did they offer or did you have to ask ?
I pointed out the considerable inconvenience caused and also that I had had to consult and pay a techie who also agreed all was ok at my end...their problem has impacted on you..they have to make some recompense for your mental torture etc etc lay it on

Thanks MM !

As if this wasn't enough, I have just heard that I will almost certainly be made redundant at Xmas !.....these things are sent to try us I suppose !
I feel fairly certain that the fault will be with BT. Even if it isn't, I doubt that you will be debited a cost. I have been led to understand that BT is able to impose a charge but very rarely do so. It's a condition laid down to stop people calling out a technician, unnecessarily.

Please keep posting up-dates........Hans.
