Whilst scrolling down the news,I attempted to click and watch a particular video but a message saying Firefox has blocked Adobe flash from viewing. An option to continue blocking or allow came up. what should I have done?

All major websites (such as Youtube and Facebook) are moving away from using Adobe Flash, which presents certain security risks as well as risking browser instability, in favour of using HTML5. For that reason Firefox will stop automatically playing Flash content when you click on it:

However you can still view the content, if you wish to do so, by simply clicking on 'allow'. (Always ensure that you're visiting a trusted website before allowing Flash content to run).

Many thanks Buenchico
Just to add to Buenchico's post - if you click on "allow now" it will only allow whilst you're on that site on that occasion; other sites will still be blocked unless you "allow now" them.
I wonder if the HTML5 thing is the reason some annoying sites have started to download and play video when visited when no one has given permission ? Never used to because Flash was blocked as described. In which case how does one ensure HTML5 and other video only downloads and plays on specific user request ?
