There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?
still fairly frio here too but I suppose average for January.
Good news from jno jnr, he's getting a sort of promotion and taking over more work from another guy who made some sort of mistake that cost the company the better part of £1 million. It's a tough world out there.
little O's nursery caught fire - it's in the next building so they were woken up by sirens. Just an electrical fault, I think, so it should be okay for Monday morning.
I am having a heart op on Monday so wish me luck. I went in for a preliminary blood test today but they got about three drops, literally. They're going to try again later in the week. They need to know if the blood's going to clot, but at the moment it's just running away and hiding.
that's the theory. I've got an ECG monitor hanging round my neck until tomorrow but the last time I had one, it picked up 50,000 ventricular ectopics in 24 hours, which seems an awful lot. So the aim is to have good old regular heartbeats. It's taken a while to find someone who can do the operation and is covered by my insurance, but hopefully that much is sorted.
Hello.jno and woofy !
Well jno hopefully that will sort you out and you'll be up and running very soon! My sister had her triple bypass and although in pain it was a success.
They broke her breastbone and she has a 6" scar from neck down!
eek! I think what I'm getting involves electrodes inserted via the groin or something ... fortunately I will not be conscious until (I hope) afterwards. But I still have to go back tomorrow as another expedition is mounted in search of my blood.
oh rats, my front four teeth have fallen out again, the recementing didn't last long. Just as well they weren't knocked out by a breathing tube or anything while I was unconscious. God knows what I'll do next, maybe implants will work but they take months to install, and anyway I have to concentrate on my heart for a while. I'll just have to get used to looking like Dracula for a while. Time to start wearing a mask again :-(
had to have my row of teeth stuck back in this morning, and then had a late call to find some prednisolone - I have to take one each day before the op. I don't know what for, I think they must have seen something in my blood test they didn't like. This is very tiresome but all will be forgiven if I act like I'm 21 again on Tuesday.
Good day everyone. Jno hope you are resting and relaxing and teeth are behaving!
I'm watching Gisele on Sky Arts. So pleased as it's my favourite ballet!
