I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

Sorry to hear about your troubles Wolf but I am glad you seem to be getting somewhere in sorting them. I know it keeps getting said but getting old is not for wimps. Jno I hope you are feeling less weary today and the leak is getting sorted. Hope everyone else is KBO. I am over my first attack of Norovirus on ages. Have been in and out of a very busy vets waiting room several times a wee because of Heidi so I guess I picked it up there. I did her FINAL antibiotic jab today which pleased both of us. When I went to to get her to do it she was in a corner of the room so I had to kneel down to pick her up. With typical tortoise cunning she had just done a HUGE wee on the absorbent old towels and counterpanes that I use to protect the floor in their room and I knelt on soggy towelling which soaked the knees of my jeans....totally charming.... KBO all night night.
oh I forgot...waves to Neti....yes teeth are expensive!
Woofgang - is Heidi a tortoise? I seem to remember that you had one.

I refuse to be old and doubly refuse to be grown up. I will, however, be sixty next year whether I want to be or not.

The flat I am moving to is above Bayne's the baker and I can pad around all night without waking the neighbours downstairs.

The stairs in the communal stairway go clockwise and not the way our stairs are - what a difference it made to my painful knee ligaments. I won't have any internal stairs to fall down either. I got it for £10k less than the valuation so I am happy about that. Selling this flat may not be fun - it has been neglected for far too long.

I am both excited and terrified - and moving closer to manic!

Keep well everybody.
Hello all. It was our 47th wedding anniversary yesterday we dined well if not
wisely! Have a headache today. Its cold and roof still leaking but not too much
Finally got Mr N to put fans away and get out Xmas decs. I now have to find the energy to decorate the halls!
Woofy I didn't realise that tortoises wee-d that much . Bit annoying!!
Well wolf snap
My kidneys are failing and they changed my diabetic meds. Also have HBP and rheumatism..waiting to see consultant again! But at age 78 I can't moan . I'm certainly better than lots of oldies. I'm fact Mr N remarked yesterday that he chose wisely when he married me! Haha!
What are you doing for Xmas jno?

a lot of knocking and banging upstairs so maybe someone is working on the leak, I don't know, but it's been dripping down day and nght. But I think the drain outside has been cleared ... well, I thought that after the first workman did it and it wasn't, but hopefully this time. And sometime tomorrow Mr Bosch will look at the fridge. The target arrival time is 7am-5pm, so that gives them a lot of leeway, but I suppose they'll still be late, everyone is.

neti, I'll be with the jnrs for Christmas. I shall miss my sis who's been hosting us for the last 10 years but I expect she'll be on a beach down under. Humungously expensive flying down under this time of year as everyone wants to be on a beach. Jno jnr is a very good cook, however, so I shall not want for yuletide comestibles. They got in a tree yesterday, which baby O likes, though I expect she has no idea what it's there for. They had a special day at nursery yesterday so parents could leave babies there and go shopping (they don't normally open at weekends).

Happy moving, wolf. A baker downstairs, how handy is that. We've got a Gail's round the corner but really their loaves are too big for one person as they start to solidify after two days.
Well that's front room, dining room and hall way decorated . I dont overdo it! Tree maybe tomorrow as its a fiesta!
Question Author
is one of these you, neti?

Well, Mr Leak seems to have done the trick (I hope). Mr Computer is coming to fix a lot of bugs tomorrow. Mr Bosch is back on Thursday with a widget to make the fridge work. All I need now is Mr Heart Surgeon (Ms would do fine), but apparently they're quite hard to find.
No way jno could I afford those lights
We have the most expensive electricity in Europe! I am now using solar lights whete possible bit we've had rain the last two days so lights not too brights. But a beautiful water cascade in front room. Deep sigh

Great for you getting things done!
Question Author
leak done, computer done, fridge done, guttering done (all this written with my fingers crossed). Heart still not done but I am determined to walk to the local coffee morning tomorrow, though it won't be fast.

No Xmas decorations as it's only me. The jnrs have a tree.

mine's gone white now and about an inch deep. My computer says "Heavy snow soon" (it's been fairly light so far) so I may have to feed the huskies.
Question Author
snow is finally melting here as the temp soars to 4 degrees and there's a bit of drizzle. I don't recall a single snowfall ever lasting so long before. I got out to baby O's birthday party yesterday, held at the nursery she goes to. Lots of happy squealing 2yos.
Well done jno fior getting out to a 2yr olds birthday party! I can't imagine anythihg worse!
Getting cold here now in the afternoons
Eonniw isnon rhe One Show on Jan 1st and wants us there but sadly I am not arriving until 11th Jan ( a surprise xmas pressie from hija!)
All very quiet here
Hope all biddies are ok
Had my booster and flu jabs last week. Feel ok!
Oh dearie me that is Ronnie is on the One Show.
Question Author
well I've now had a phone call to say they think she might have chicken pox. No point asking who gave it to who, I suppose, the place was full of suspects.

I have consulted my sis, who says I had it myself in 1957. Plus the shingles jab a couple of years ago should have revived my immunity.
Oh.poor baby O but yes best to get it over and done with. Sadly we have to pay €300 for a shingles jab so I havent had one.
