I have been sent an email in Thunderbird which has two attachments. I would like to forward one of them to another party, is this possible without sending the whole thing of original email (letter) and both attachments, please?

'Save' the attachment to an appropriate file, and then attach it to a new email.

n. Thank you, & embarrassingly simple solution which I wasted half an hour trying to do by assorted methods. x
Can you not click on forward and then delete everything you don't from the text and the attachment you don't want to forward? Also, delete the FW: bit in the subject bar.
Could you not just copy the attachment you want to send and paste it to a new e-mail?
