Hi everyone. Please can you help me. I have downloaded a movie from Utorrent. I have also extracted/unzipped the files. They now play with Real player. Excellent! But, when I try to play it, I am told that the file needs to be updated and offered a choice on whether to update the file or not. When I choose no, it plays the file, but there is no sound! Why is this? I haven't answered yes to the file update yet, however, I'm about to try that now. Anyway, any ideas? Many Thanks.

What sort of file is it that you've downloaded?

Try playing it with VLC:

Usually, they are .rar or .daa file extentions?
sounds like a compressed file then (compressed to make the file size smaller and therefore download speed quicker!). you will have to 'extract' (ie draw out) the file to play. google 'winrar' for .rar and 'poweriso' for .daa
