Hi ABers, when I right click a link and 'open in new window' it's always small and I have to maximise it, which is annoying. I just want the window to open already maximised. I've sorted this b4 but for the life of me can't remember how, can anyone please remind me....Thanx.

When a small window opens, don't click the 'maximise' button. Instead, drag the edges of the window until it fills the screen. Your PC will remember this as the preferred size for a new window. (It might be necessary to close your newly-enlarged window before the settings will take effect).

Thanks Buenchico, unfortunately doesn't work for me! I'll keep trying. I vaguely remember pressing a key and closing at the same time but...no, it's evading me :(
Before you open the new window, click the "Restore" button in the current browser. That'll go to the size you're describing as too small.
Resize it until it fills the screen then press Maximise. All new windows will be at that resized size.

Or just use Firefox where new links can be opened in a new tab rather than a new window.
