Hi all. I can not open or download any pdf files , which is bothersome. Any ideas what I may have done to disable whatever it is needed to run them or how I am able to install whatever is needed?

you need adobe acrobat to read them.It's free so just google it.
Can't imagine why you can't download them though as you can download anything you want whether or not you have a programme to open it.
I much prefer foxit reader to adobe - it's free, so worth a try:

Thanks for the answers, apparently I have adobe, but still have problems.! I have now downloaded Ethel's' suggested reader, I will let you know if I still have problems. Thanks again.
Ethel is right.
adobe can be problematic and take up a lot of resources.
