What are your ideas about messageboards ?

e.g. should they be heavily moderated or a free-for-all. Could you trust certain mischievous elements to behave if they knew there were no restraints ? I have created a messageboard, gibbon-based, and I promise that everybody who joins will be given super-dooper-moderator status. Do you think this will work ?

I think it is possible to rely on human civilised behaviour (with one notable exception) to self-regulate and maintain peaceful order. Everybody would be able to delete everybody else including me, and I think it would settle down to a minor bubbling anarchy.

Why on earth would you want to give a message to a gibbon? If you did, their messageboard would be a lot shorter than a human messageboard. When I go for a message my messeuse gets me to lie on a long messageboard covered with a layer of foam-rubber and a blanket: quite comfortable.
