whats the best pc mic, are the cheap ones any good

Goto somewhere like ebuyer.com, search for microphones, and find the cheapest ones.

As for whether they're any good: that depends on what you want it for. If you're recording your voice for your latest crack at the UK charts with your hit record, probably not. However, if you just want it for talking over Skype or msn, then yes they'll do fine.
