Yahoo Messenger
Hi
Can someone tell me how to permanently remove Yahoo Messenger - I have already removed it from my Control Panel and the icon, but it is still showing as a little smiling face on the taskbar and pops up each time I switch on my Internet. I am with BT and use BT Broadband Yahoo?
I thought when I removed it from my Control Panel it would not return, but like a bad name, it has.
Thanks, in advance, to all who answer.

When 'Add/Remove Programs' fails, do this to remove Yahoo Messenger from your pc:
CLOSE the Yahoo! Messenger application if you currently have it running. Make sure all instances of Internet Explorer are CLOSED.
Go to your desktop and double-click "My Computer."
Click the "C:" drive.
Go to C:\Program Files\Yahoo!
Highlight the Yahoo! Messenger folder and press the 'Delete' key on your keyboard.
DEFRAG your computer files to remove those empty spaces resulting from the deletion.
