UTottent hogging all bandwidth
When I download music or video using UTorrent I can't access the internet for any other reason...gaming,email, google etc etc....It says Server can't be found???
If I shut down Utorrent I can access the internet no problem.
Can someone give me a step by step idiots guide on how to regulate UTorrent hogging all internet access. My operating system is Windows XP.
thank you in advance

I'm not going to write a whole guide but:
1) Make sure you have the latest version of utorrent
2) Start utorrent and go to Options -> Setup Guide, run the tests to set the correct settings for your environment
3) If this does not fix it, go to Options -> Preferences -> Bandwidth, and lower each value by 50%
4) If this sorts the problem (it should), experiment with upping the values to the highest values you can while still getting good internet performance.
Note: Lowering utorrent values will make your torrent download slower but everything is a trade off.
