Can anyone recommend a secure email host. I want to move my email address from my ISP but want something more secure than my gmail account. Preferably not to expensive Thanks, Gary

I use Gawab. It offers a free (and advertising free) email service, which is accessible both via the web and through an email client (such as Outlook, Outllook Express, Windows Mail or Thunderbird). It's both secure and reliable.

Hushmail (.com) it's free but the free deal is that you have to make sure you return to your account and use it within a 3 week period (or they shut it down).

Have you considered your own domain name?
It's less than 3 pounds a year for a .co.uk, and a mailbox on it is between free and 10 pounds a year depending on the domain hosting company.
You can have any domain name you like as long as nobody else already has it, so you'd get a more personalised email address.

Thanks all, have gone with Chris's idea for now ,gawab.com ,have set this up, just got to try to import my address book from OE ?. Own domain name sounds good. Will give it serious thought. Thanks again, Gary
