Reverse number lookup are a) illegal in the UK and 2) as a lot of people don't register sim cards to a name wouldn't be effective if they were allowed.

Chuck correctly states that it's strictly illegal, here in the UK, for anyone to provide (either online or on CD) a reverse telephone number lookup facility.

However your use of the term 'cell phone' (together with a previous reference to Anthony Sullivan) suggests that you might be in the USA. (Brits refer to 'mobile phones', or just 'mobiles', rather than to 'cell phones'. Anthony Sullivan is British but he's only on US TV).

So you might get more success in finding answers to your questions by posting on American sites, rather than on this British one. Try these two:

Many people write comments about pest numbers and I know from a few junk text's I have got that spammers seem to just get a free sim and spam on it untill its blocked by the network then move onto the next free sim.
