How to I embed a video clip, please?

I've noticed that some ABers embed a clip (say, YouTube) in their post, whereas I just always cut and pasted the link to the clip. How do you do that, please?

there are two panels at the top of this answer as I write: one says (Optional) Enter URL - you do this. You can fill in the second one - (Optional) Describe URL's content - if you want but YouTube ones seem to have a title on them anyway

oh, okay, that one didn't work. I didn't see anything on YouTube saying it wouldn't. But in general that's how to do it, cut and paste the URL into the top panel.

that's funny, my one doesn't work for me, it says 'embedding disabled by request'. But yours does, so that's ok. Me and Louise Brooks will just have to find some other way of meeting.

I see what you mean, jno - I can see pandora as a link but not open/play it.

Boxy - it worked for me. It is 0540 hrs and I am crying with laughter. I presume the L L Line dancers operate a similar system to the colour of judo belts. Black is very good but woe betide you if you are given an orange t-shirt - whatever happened to rhythm and spacial awareness ? ;o)

Boxy - on jno's link, having clicked on the arrow to see the message that it cannot be embedded - if you then double click on 'watch on youtube' it will open the link in another window for you.
