My son has sent us some photos via the internet and I need Silverlight to view them. If I download it how much memory does it take and is it safe? Thanks for any help.

Firstly, you don't need Silverlight to view photos.

It has a fairly light footprint and is perfectly safe...

Thanks Markrae but they came via Silverlight and there is a footnote which says you need Silverlight to view the album.

I'm sure it does, but you don't... In this case, Silverlight will simply be providing a slideshow wrapper round them. Download it anyway - it'll look very pretty...
