How do I zap a 'friend' - we don't chat or anything but his friends have posted some photos that I wouldn't want my oldest child to see. Thanks. (the photos are nothing awful, but a bit too much for my eldest to see)

Click on their name sherrard and on the left hand side at the bottom it will say delete, click on ok. You can then click on block and ok again and they can't see you and you can't see them.

Thanks Jan, managed to sort it out. The photos were just a bit too much if my son was to see them and I don't actualy 'talk' to this person. Does feel a bit nasty though somehow.

or, if you want them to remain on your friends list but not see their feed, you can go the right hand side of their wall posts on your home page and click on the cross and use option 'hide all by xx'
