Opening files
5 Answers
I`vw done something wrong again, but I don`t know what!!!
I fiddled with various settings (I can`t remember which ones though!). Now when I download an article, or try to open a saved file, I get:
"Choose the programme you want to open this file" followed by a list of Firefox, I E. or other recommended programmes. Whichever I click on I get the same message! I cannot open the file I click on to view it. It started with a downloaded file from email, then I checked saved files and got the same result. Anybody any idea what I`ve done wrong please?

I`ve tried both the options you suggest including two restore dates. I`ve just tried to add a file from disc of a camera I`ve just bought and the result is the same i.e. "Choose the prog you want" etc. I`ve tried every available option but still it stays the same, going back to "Choose the prog you want....." I`m using OpenOffice 3.2, would this make a difference?
