You need a DVD disc. You should have a lead with your camera to attach to your computer; attach it. After you've done that, go to My Computer, by the 'start' menu, click on the drive that is your camera and it will open a list of what's on your camera. Put your DVD in and open it through the My Computer again. Click and hold whatever you want to copy from your camera list and drag it over and drop it on the DVD box. Then, on the left, click on 'copy to DVD'. There are other ways, but this is how I do mine.
The above assumes many things .. and informs you on little.

That is ok if you use packet writing (or certain software like Sonic uses this system for CD/DvD R) and a DVD or CD RW.
Connect up the camera with USB to PC. Locate camera directory using Windows Explorer, and copy/paste to you hard drive partition of choice (assuming you have the space)
Consider the space you need to burn these clips. If over 700Mb, you will need to store on a DVD as a Data disc. Burn to disc accordingly using any burning software. The clips will probably be in AVI format?
