motorola defy how to use keyboard - help needed

Have just upgraded to motorola defy and now need a little help as there are no clues in manual

how do i drop a line using the keyboard for ex when texting on a nokia this happens if you double tap 0

I too had similar frustrations with the Defy.

Problem was solved by downloading the TouchPal keyboard from the Android store.

It's free and far superior to the pre-installed keyboard.
