I used to have a laptop and now and then accidentally turned on a strange thing by pressing one of the F (function) keys. Was it cartel browsing? Something like that.

Could that be his problem?

I've not idea HC, I've been through everything I can think of that would cause this (mainly brushing the touchpad)

Also not sure what cartel browsing would be, that's not one I've heard of. I'm of the opinion that the laptop should go back to the people that done the original repair and it shouldn't be excepted back until 100% happy with it.
