Can anyone give me advice on which Scanner they would buy to simply scan photographs on to my laptop for storage and e mailing. I broke an Epson Perfection V500 but it is covered by insurance.
I want to spend no more than £100.00. Thanks.

Thanks you two. I don't need a printer as I've got one. I just need a flatbed. Is that what it's called?
I have had a Canon for a few years now. It has been totally reliable. I am not familiar with current models except that some include a slide scanning attachment and with others it has to be bought separately.
Yep
Mine is a slimline flatbed Canon Lide80
(about same size as A4 sheet .. and thinner than a netbook.
