Thanks AlBags. I think I've clicked something and don't know what When I go on a site I've got twitter in the background. I can get rid of this by closing on the x box and then the site i want fills the page. But when I want twitter the last site I was on remains overfilling the page leaving me just a fraction of twitter on the left hand side. I don't know how to restore the full twitter page. If I click the x box in top right corner it takes me back to the desktop.
At the moment I've gone back to IE just so I can access Twitter. Must admit Firefox very fast compsared to IE I'M acomplete computer nerd so don't understand your last advice, but will try it out when I have another crack at Firefox. The only problem I have is with the twitter pge. It's definitely something I've done and not a Firefox problem.
