Evening ABers I have just paired via bluetooth my new sony vaio to my sony experian10 phone but every time i try to send a jpeg file 40.5 kb i get the message FTP Abort no services found.can anyone help.
Cheers. i did try posting this before under computers but had no replies so hopefully i might get a favourable response here

Which way are you trying to send it?

from lappy to phone via bluetooth. just keep getting the message about no service and FTP abort

From the manual...

From the Home screen, tap .
Find and tap Settings > Wireless & networks.
Mark the Bluetooth checkbox. appears in the status bar.
Tap Bluetooth settings.
Mark the Discoverable checkbox. The phone will now be visible to other devices for 120 seconds.
Sending device: Send one or more items to your phone using Bluetooth™.
If asked, enter the same passcode on both devices, or confirm the suggested passcode.
When you are notified of an incoming file to your phone, drag the status bar downwards and tap the notification to accept the file transfer.
Tap Accept to start the file transfer.
To view the progress of the transfer, drag the status bar downwards.
To open a received item straight away, drag the status bar downwards and tap the relevant notification.

Your phone must have a memory card inserted to be able to receive items using Bluetooth™ wireless technology

Oh and if it's the experia 10 mini you are out of luck, that phone doesn't support bluetooth file transfers.

Done all that with the phone still get the same message coming up, the phone states im connected to the computer audio and i can hear people calling me but still cannot send files

i can send a pic from my phone to lappy ok but not from lappy to phone

I can now send to my partners phone but still not to mine strange seeing as both lappy and my phone are sony
