I need to view a web site - it had some information on but has being updated recently, is there any way i can view / see the original web page before the update ?

Highly unlikely. The only thing you could do is contact the owner of the page and asked about what change was made.

Have you tried the Wayback Machine ? http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

If it is an image it will most likely still be in your Temporary Internet folder, but you'll need to at least know the name/description of the image to find it quickly.
