All my downloads have vanished

When I check my downloads they have all vanished, how do I get them back?

Downloads of what? Programs, Music, Videos?

And where did you download them from.

Or are we supposed to guess?

What downloads?
Have you tried a search for one of the files.
They may have gone into a folder (ie temp) which was set by the computer default

Sorry I wasn't clear, when I click on the wrench in google chrome and click on downloads the page is blank, whereas a couple of minutes before they were all there.

That's only your download list. the files will still be there in the same place they always were....

They will be in your user folder then in a folder called downloads (assuming you've not changed the default location)
