If it is a wireless mouse the batteries could need replacing

Remove the ball and clean the rollers inside

If its the old ball roller it will be on there,If its the electronic one just wipe the base and mat.

sorry I didn't get back to you, I lost my broadband connection completely, I was once satisfied with Sky but now doubts are creeping in, this is the 3rd time this has happened in a short while
